About COYA
The Coptic Orthodox Youth Association (COYA) is a parish based organization that functions to assist and support the Church and serve the needs of Coptic Orthodox youth on a spiritual, physical, emotional, educational and social level. It is the COYA’s commitment to assist all youth of the Church and empower them to live exemplary Christian lives, so that through this, positively influence members of mainstream society. It is also the mission of COYA to broaden the ministry of the Coptic Orthodox Church to other communities, offering hope through a multitude of services, developing leadership, and influencing public policy and debate on issues of relevance to Christian interests.
